FOR MOMS
You love your life.
And you're also struggling.
Both can be true. Therapy with me isn't about gratitude or positive thinking — it's about actually getting to feel, say, or let go of everything you've been avoiding, and finding your way back to yourself.
WHAT I MOST OFTEN HEAR:
"I feel guilty for struggling when I have so much to be grateful for."
"I go to bed every night promising I’ll be calmer tomorrow, only to wake up already feeling on edge and touched-out."
"I hate that I’ve become this frustrated, reactive version of myself who snaps at the people I love most."
So... you're functional-ish
✦ You hold the mental load of the house — and you're exhausted by it
✦ You overthink everything, especially as a parent
✦ You love your kids dearly, but you're completely touched out and overstimulated by 5pm
✦ Pregnancy changed something fundamental in how you see yourself or your body
✦ Postpartum life is nothing like you expected - (hi intrusive thoughts, what?!)
✦ You find yourself snapping or yelling when you know you there is a better way to handle it, followed by that heavy wave of mom-guilt
✦ You're a good mom who sometimes doesn't like this season of motherhood — (didn't expect that, huh?)
✦ You just want to talk to someone who gets it without needing to explain everything
No one hands you a permission slip to fall apart. I will.
